Right now I am in Cleveland, MS for the National Endowment for the Humanities seminar "The Most Southern Place on Earth." It's just a pleasure to be a stone's throw away from significant sites in Blues history no matter where you are in the Delta. I hope to tell y'all more about it later, but I've eaten too much soul food today, and I need my beauty rest. Okay...it's really my "so I'm not on my last nerve" rest. Same difference. Below you will see my lunch and dinner....both which were crying out for a post-meal nap (not part of today's schedule), so now I need to catch some long-awaited Zzzzzz's.
Next time Delta State will offer this seminar will be in 2013, so plan on applying. Last year the deadlines for most applications were in March. You will not be disappointed.
